Week 11 Finished – Photo 12

Well to say I’m annoyed at this weeks progress would be an understatement. What happened! The strange thing is I feel as fit and healthy as ever and the weights im lifting would agree with that. I did take this photo on a day off, hadn’t been to the gym that day so theres no hint of “gym pump” that was probably more evident in the earlier photos plus I had just eaten. Maybe thats to blame?
Whatever it was, this week shall be the most brutal week yet.

Week 10 Finished – Photo 11

Damn! 10 Weeks! Where the hell did that time go. Seriously.

Training has been going well recently. The only major thing to note is that I (stupidly) have been focusing a bit too much on weights and not enough on cardio. It’s so so easy to fall into a “train one body part a day” type of routine. Not having it! Need to make sure I’m doing at least 30 mins of cardio every day. That’s my goal this week at least.
Quite pleased with todays picture. One thing of note is that my cheat day has played havoc with my skin. Seems to every week. Besides this I am happy with the progress made, just need to lose a bit more fat.

Week 9 Finished – Photo 10

Sorry again for the day late post. I’m getting really bad at this. Must keep on top of them. Just seem to be so tired at the moment the last thing I want to do is be taking photos right after I’ve had dinner. Nevermind.

Here is Photo 10. Overall I can see an improvement but there is still a long long way to go yet. Need to turn up the cardio and lose some more fat. Still think I’m probably on target for it taking 52 weeks to get the body I want :)

Week 7 Finished – Photo 8

Jesus, cant believe it’s nearly the end of two months!

Bit annoyed that progress seems to have slowed. Not quite sure why. I have been working out just as much and my diet has been fine. I think its something that I just need to push through. Also really need to step up the fat burning to keep dropping my body fat. That six-pack and ripped body isn’t going to build itself! lol.

One interesting thing to mention is the more I work out the more I enjoy the fact it takes FOREVER to get more lean/built/muscley simply because the more happy I get with how I look the more achievement I feel and also, like tattoo’s, the more pain required to get them, the less people that have them.

Week 6 Finished – Photo 7

Well we’re half way into February now and I’m still just as shocked at how fast time is flying. Loving working out at the moment. Spend a good couple of hours most evenings working out if I’m not doing Muay Thai. Also doing very well with my diet keeping to the 5 healthy days, 1 cheat day, 1 fast day rule.

When I’m looking at these photos I cannot see any real changes from week to week however when I compare the most recent photo with the starting photo I am really pleased. Still plenty of room for more improvement though.

Week 5 Finished – Photo 6

Sorry for the slightly late update. It was my Birthday last week and what with seeing my family at the weekend I had very little time to update. I did manage to stick religiously to my diet which I am really pleased about. Today I am waiting for pHd Synergy to arrive that I ordered so I will post a review of that later.

End of Jan – Photo 5

Well its the end of a month and DAMN did that month go quickly. I’m actually a little bit worried that I’m not seeing results fast enough as a month suddenly seems like a hell of a long time! Theres only twelve of them in the year. I guess I should be pleased that I have been dedicated for a whole month. I am.

Anyway, here is Photo#5. Still not sure if its much different but I guess a month isn’t really that long. I do think I look a bit leaner. Looking forward to what differences will see by the end of Feb. It’s my birthday soon. That’ll be a test. Do I dare eat cake on a non-cheat day? I’m not sure. Think I may have to stick with being brutally harsh on myself. Kind of enjoying being a strict fitness freak! haha. Maybe one day I will hear from someone on here. Only time will tell.

On another note I have also started taking the pHd Lean Degree supplements. Obviously I’m not going to see a difference fat wise instantly however I did think I would feel a bit more of a buzz then this. I do usually drink a fare amount of caffeine, each contains 200mg which is about 4 coffees or one relentless. We will see anyway. Review coming soon.

Week 3 Finished – Photo 4

It’s been another good week this week. Did a full workout Monday/Tues/Thurs and the Muay Thai Wednesday. Saturday was my cheat day and Sunday has been my fast day where I also went to the gym. Boy am I hungry. Didn’t have a protein shake at all today so I’m feeling more hungry than last week. It’s probably the most difficult part of the whole week!

Below is photo 4. Seeing some minor changes, especially when you compare it to the first photo. Concentrating as much now on lowering my body fat as I am gaining muscle so you wont be seeing any massive increases in muscle size overnight. I am pleased with how it’s going so far though. Am looking a tiny bit more lean. Last week I  think I may have been tensing slightly for the photo so the changes are minimal.

Here’s to next week being even more fantastic.

Week 2 Finished – Photo 3

Ok, forgot to post the photo on the previous Week 2 finished post so here’s another marking the very end of the week. The second week was a hell of a lot more successful than the first however i’m beginning to think that I should be taking these photos on the Friday evening instead of Sunday, my treat day! The photos are definitely showing me at the worst time. Hey-ho it doesn’t matter. Here is photo 3:

Seeing any differences yet?
I’m quietly pleased with the slight changes from the previous photos.  Looking forward to next week, going to work even harder than I did the week just gone. Plus my diet for the approaching week should be even better as I have just done my shopping. I shall include a selection of the meals that I plan on eating for the approaching week in another post.

So pleased I set up this blog. Makes you so determined. I’d recommend it to anyone!

Week 1 Finished – Photo 2

Well, we come to the end of the first week of this insane 52 week experiment and it wasn’t a great start. In the end I managed to get to the gym 3 times however not the 5 that I am trying to. Damn snow! Next week is going to be different.

Above is Photo#2. I am not expecting to see ANY difference from week to week and over the past week I am certain I can see zero difference. That would be some sort of miracle. However I do want to keep a weekly photo log, 1) so I can make a video of my transformation in a years time and 2) so I can pinpoint the changes within my diet and exercise to the changes in my body.
Simples.

One week down, Fifty one more to go.
